Welcome to Copper Brewing Company, Kelowna’s independent craft brewery, taproom, and family-friendly restaurant — where great beer, great food, and great people come together under one roof.

Since opening in 2019, we’ve brewed every drop of beer right here on site in the Landmark District of Kelowna, British Columbia. We’re not a corporate brand. We’re a true local brewery — owned and operated by Kelowna residents, built from scratch, and driven by the belief that beer tastes best when it’s made with care, shared with community, and served with pride.

At Copper Brewing, every pint begins with Okanagan spring water, B.C. malt, and carefully selected hops from across the Pacific Northwest. Our team brews small batches daily to ensure peak freshness and flavour. You can see the tanks from your table — that’s how close the beer is to the heart of what we do.

We take a classic, honest approach to brewing — no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just great beer made with intention.

Our most popular beers include:

• Local Lager – our flagship, 100 % Canadian-made lager, brewed exclusively with domestic ingredients. Crisp, clean, and proudly national in spirit.
• Hazy Pale Ale – double dry-hopped with Mosaic and Citra for balanced aromatics and soft tropical notes.
• Pint O’ Copper Nitro Stout – smooth and creamy with rich roasted malt character, poured on nitro for that classic pub feel.
• Blackcurrant Sour – Award winning sour perfect for the fruity beer lover.

We brew over 15,000 litres annually, supplying our taproom, local restaurants, and community events throughout the Okanagan. Whether you’re after a crisp lager, a juicy hazy, or a dark stout, you’ll find it fresh from the source — brewed 20 feet from your seat.

Our full restaurant, Porter’s, serves classic comfort food done right — smash burgers, local bratwurst, gourmet hot dogs, salads, and daily features designed to complement our beers. Every dish is made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The taproom is open, bright, and social — a mix of long tables, cozy corners, and family seating. You’ll find locals after work, families at dinner, couples on date night, and friends celebrating life’s small moments.

And yes — we’re one of the only breweries in North America that also sells brand-new LEGO® sets right inside our taproom.
It started as a fun idea to give families something creative to do while enjoying a meal, and it’s become one of Copper’s most talked-about features. Parents sip craft beer while their kids build LEGO — it’s part of what makes us Kelowna’s most family-friendly brewery.

The Copper Story

Copper Brewing was founded by Sean White and Darla Ariss, who transformed their passion for homebrewing into one of Kelowna’s most recognized independent breweries.

The name Copper Brewing pays tribute to both the copper-clad brewing equipment at the heart of our operation and Copper, our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, whose loyalty and warmth inspired our brand’s friendly personality.

Since day one, our goal has been to create a space that feels like home — a place where craftsmanship meets comfort, and everyone from beer enthusiasts to families feels welcome.
